Newtown House
The interior of this Victorian-era house took its inspiration from an earlier creation by Greg Natale Design. The clients loved the combination of powder-blue walls, white ceilings and skirting and monochrome elements that appeared in one of the residences in Greg’s book The Tailored Interior, and requested a similar look for their home.
For this four-bedroom house, a more intense duck-egg blue was chosen for the walls with the colour brought into furnishings, artworks and even floor tiles for a cohesive effect. Subtle white panelling on the ceilings keeps the focus on the walls, while metallic touches throughout bring glamour and warmth. Arches feature strongly in the house’s design, being a prominent component of its exterior.
