This elegant two-bedroom apartment, in an iconic Sydney building, merges classic style with contemporary touches.

The former space, an old three-bedroom apartment with no modcons, was transformed and opened up, with the area provided by the third bedroom used to include features such as a walk-in robe, laundry and linen cupboard. 

Monochromes anchor the design, providing a strong note against dove-grey walls, with key colours defining different spaces, such as vivid blues in the dining room and green in the hand-painted kitchen. Mid-century ceramics and modern furniture continue to blend old and new, while gilt touches add glamour.
